My Journey.
In Persian, my name means silk, though my healing journey felt far from soft or smooth. For many years, I lived with intense anxiety and a deep disconnection from my mind and body, unaware that the sensations and emotions I tried to push away were carrying important messages.
In my early twenties, I began working with a therapist after noticing familiar patterns repeating in my relationships. While this helped me understand how my past shaped how I relate to others, I still felt disconnected from my mind and body; I was often caught in cycles of overanalyzing and emotional overwhelm.
On the outside, my life appeared stable and accomplished. I studied at respected universities and built a career in higher education settings. Internally, however, I felt misaligned, uncertain of my direction, and longing for something more authentic.
Life transitions, including immigration (from Iran to the Netherlands) and burnout, eventually invited me to slow down and listen more closely to myself. Through a coaching trajectory, Internal Family Systems support, and somatic practices, I began reconnecting with my inner wisdom and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with myself.
What emerged was a sense of home within, a way of living that honors both my body and mind and meets my experiences with curiosity rather than judgment.
Today, I integrate both my lived experiences and professional trainings to offer a compassionate and curious space for others to explore their inner world, reconnect with their mind and body, and translate insights into meaningful changes in their life and relationships.
